PFM Crowns and Bridges
The porcelain fused to metal crowns and bridges are popular in the prosthetic dentistry, these are widely used restorations of our profile. We use nickel and beryllium free biocompatible alloys or precious alloys for the frames. The porcelain materials are well known in the profession, the Willi Geller’s Creation, Noritake, and Ivoclar InLine porcelains achieve nice aesthetics and transparency, with optimal strength against the biomechanical forces. We produce many designs and margins: Porcelain shoulder on labial/buccal, 360 or 180 degree polished metal edge, cantelever unit, maryland bridge, simple or combined cast post core under crowns, various pontic designs and gingiva ceramic material where needed. We use gingiva mask for pontics, and at difficult labial gingival cases at front restorations. |
Aesthetic restorations
The Ivoclar E.max is probably the best choice among the aesthetic restorations. Using metal free possibilities we can achieve the transition of light into the root and back (not as the PFM restorations). We can see this effect especially at the e-max restorations. The light plays inside the crown on the way back from the root, and it gives natural effect to the crown ( and of course the right layering and our technician’s other technical „tricks”). We use two methods to produce E.max: 1. Full contour : After the press and final adjustment, our ceramic specialist paints the colours and effects on the surface. The advance of this technique is the acceptable strength at thin width dimensions. 2. Layering technique: The E.max frame is modelled up to 60-65% of the full contour. After the press and adjustment our ceramic specialist builds up the last layers individually from the E.max ceramic material. Then the following step is also the colouring and staining effect burning. We can use a wide range of ingots from high opacity to high translucency, depending on the case and the colour of the preparation surface. If we receive preparation images with proper shade key it it easy to choose ingot from the sortiment. And we are happy with feedback pictures as well. |
Precision attachments
Qualit-art dental lab provides a wide range of precision attachments depending on case: Ball attachments: a slight movement is allowed for the removable parts, so power on retention crowns can be reduced. Default is made with nylon inserts, milled metal retentive surfaces and interlock. Ceka (metal on metal ball surface): special solution of attachments, adjustable metal insert meets metal ball so as to avoid the abrasion (and change) of insert as it can be reactivated. milled metal retentive surfaces and interlock is not necessary. Bar attachments: often used for all on four solution. 3 bar attachments are placed on 4 implants with nylon or metal insert so removable denture can click on it. Slot attachments: vertical attachments which result a bit more stress than the ball attachments but also result more stable vertical retention. Made with nylon inserts, milled retentive surfaces and interlock. Telescopic crowns: accurate secunder crowns are placed on parallelly polished primer crowns, thus ensuring friction fitting. For the best final aesthetic result a lot of tooth-material is removed during the preparation, which in many cases leads to root treatment. We offer this solution only in case of careful preparation and having strategic plan. MK1 system (metal on metal) with key: metal push-button solution, small rack keys can open the lock. The locking element needs more space than in the case of the ball or the slot, but it is a well-functioning structure for long-term use which preferably does not require a metal palatal or lingual plate (unilateral prosthesis can be prepared with this system). Using the device requires some manual skill by the patient. |
Implant retained prosthodontics
The implant solutions became important segment in the dentistry of our modern world. Thanks to this fact we meet a wide range of implant manufacturers and products. Different kind of platforms complicate our profession. In most cases it is no problem for us to meet a new platform, we use a lot of implant systems day by day (Ankylos, Nobel Biocare, Bego Semados, Straumann, Zimmer Legacy, Alpha Bio, MIS, SGS, Cortex, Adin, Oraltronics, etc), so do not hesitate to contact us. We can produce glued crowns and bridges, angle correction implant abutment bridges, and screw retained bridges up to 45 degree angle correction pro abutments, as well. In complicated cases we prepare an individual abutment or CAD/CAM frames with curved hole at the implants which help the fitting of screw retention. In other cases we prepare bar or other precision attachment with acrylic overdenture (eg.: all on four solution). |
Composite inlay, crown
Composite inlays, onlays and crowns are cheaper alternatives to gold and all ceramic restorations. The GC Gradia material gives precise fit and natural looking appearance to the restoration. The colour and opacity/translucency of the layered material is appropriate to the Vita Classic shade guide. We put translucent material to the margins of inlays and onlays to achieve the colour transition between the natural tooth and restoration. Inocclusion of Gradia inlays and onlays is usually recommended because of the difference of occlusion between the plaster model and mouth. |
Removable dentures Biometrical dimensions, size of teeth and midline of the denture are registered in the surgery by using a wax or silicon bite. Based on this registration and the tooth colour, the try-in denture is prepared, the acrylic teeth are fixed in wax to ensure that the position of the teeth can be adjusted if necessary. The wax denture is tried and checked in the dental surgery. Based on the experience of the patient and the dentist, the denture is finished in the dental lab by using a highly precise technology. There are 4 types:

Full metal crowns
There are different kind of metal crowns by function: simple, anchor, angle correction, telescopic (primer and secunder)and thin copy crown. We use Bego Wirobond SG nickel and berrylium free alloy for non precious CoCr crowns and Degulor C or Degudent Biocclus alloy for precious gold crowns. Thanks to our investing, casting and polishing technology we count only 15% material loss at production of precious gold crowns. |
Orthodontic appliances
We provide many kind of orthodontic appliances: Removable appliances: Retention appliances, active appliances with screw (Y plate also),palatal expander (with or without activator screw), Klammt -, Frankel-, Hansa-, Balters appliance, Doppel plate, Twin Block, Retainer, Occlusal splint, Inclined plane. Fixed appliances: Hyrax, Splint Hyrax, Lingual arc appliance, palatinal arc, Quad Helix, Goshgarian, Nancy, Pendulum, Distal Jet appliance. |
Laminates
Nightguards: Our standard hard nightguard is used to alleviate clenching and bruxing. A full maxillary coverage splint with a flat occlusal plane and with vertical dimension opened 1.5mm in the posterior. Bleaching trays: The advantage of custom-made bleaching trays is that they offer a fit that benefits both the whitening process and the patient's experience. The term "custom teeth whitening trays" refers to bleaching trays that are made by our dental laboratory specifically for the patient that will wear them. We need the impressions to create plaster casts. The patient's whitening trays will then be fabricated directly on these casts, thus ensuring an accurate and customized fit. |
